Hominidae

The race of man.

Backstory
The hominidae are the most average of all races, Strong, fast, skilled.. They seemed to be the perfect race.
But, with power comes greed, rebellion and anarchy.

In the beginning the hominidae lived in peace, blessed by the gods that had created them. They worked hard, praised their creators, and were blessed in return. But it was never enough, The men always had a thirst for adventure, Many abandoned their civilizations and left in search of their own land.

At one point in time they were a mighty group of creatures, now reduced to factions and bands of rebels, creating their own rules, laws and beliefs.

Years passed and the few alliances between the factions crumbled, War broke out between them all. The remaining followers of the true god were almost wiped out. The gods who had first created them so long ago, Now rejected them.

Unoticed by them, A darkness was rising in the east, weapons were being crafted, Armies rose, and empires were crafted, Constantly watching the hominidae battle, waiting for the right time.

In the years to come, many factions were destroyed and those who lived joined the victor. Four remained, and eventually, a cease fire of sorts was called.

Appearance
The hominidae are basicaly humans, The only difference will be to a specific role. EG: a solider will be typically a large built person. Whereas a mage may be frail.

Feats/Skills
Bladed weapon proficency: The hominidae are trained to be militia regardless of their profession, as such they have experience in bladed weapon use.

Beast killer: Most hominidae spend their younger days training in the forests and fields surrounding thier home towns and cities, Fighting the monsters. For this they recieve extra damage against wild beasts.

Starting EQ
Before being sent into battle or being deployed as a sentry, They are given basic equipment; A helmet, Arming jack, Leather boots and gloves, and a short sword.

Stats
The race of men are an average race and as such recieve no bonus either way to stats.

Preferred profession
The hominidae are naturally suited to whatever profession they are placed in, although it may be easier as a fighting class.

I was actualy thinking of leaving them without a god as such, once im finished writing the rest it will make sense..

But basicaly, The Hominidae and the Mon-kai both see each other as evil.
So alignment will be based on user preference.
